MEMBERSHIP

- Members represent every aspect of the commercial real estate industry.
- Members on average have 14 years of experience in commercial real estate.
- Almost 76 percent are CEOs, presidents, owners, partners, or senior managers of their companies.
- Nearly 90 percent hold college or graduate degrees.
- 60 percent report annual incomes in excess of $100,000.
- More than 72 percent of members have given a referral to another member within the last 12 months.
MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY
CREW St. Louis offers various membership categories in order to provide a wide range of membership opportunities to enhance our organization. Membership categories, and their respective qualifications are as follows:
Full Membership – Annual Dues $275
- Applicant has 5+ years of experience in a qualified field of Commercial Real Estate
- Qualified fields are defined as follows: Accounting, acquisitions, appraisal, architecture, asset management, building construction, real estate consulting, development, civil/environmental engineering, environmental, finance, institutional lending, interior design/space planning, investments, journalism, publishing, advertising, law, leasing, market research, mortgage banking / brokerage, property management, real estate sales/brokerage, syndication, title/escrow services, surveying, governmental agencies and bodies that engage in economic development, non-profits engaging in commercial real estate or economic development.
- Employed fulltime in a professional position
Associate Member – Annual Dues $275
- Same qualifications as ‘Full’ Member, but fewer than 5 years of experience
Affiliate Member – Annual Dues $825
- Applicant does not meet qualifications of ‘Full’ Member
- Employed fulltime in a position for which the primary responsibilities relate to, benefit, or support Commercial Real Estate and/or supplies a service or physical product related to Commercial Real Estate (i.e. roofing, carpeting, landscaping, painting, furniture, media etc.)
- Additional benefit to Affiliate membership is a $500 credit per year that is applied to sponsorship opportunities, which are outlined on the pages following the membership application.
Retired Member – Annual Dues $135
- An existing member who is retiring, and therefore is not eligible for any of the above membership categories, but who would like to remain involved in Chapter activities
- Retired members agree to participate in a mentor program to assist newer members in their career objectives and CREW involvement
Student Member – Annual Dues $95
- Enrolled fulltime in an undergraduate college or university program and pursuing education intended to lead to a career in a commercial real estate field.
** It should be noted that the Board will ensure that the number of Affiliate Members combined with the number of Associate members will not exceed 25% of the total membership base.
***It should also be noted that CREW St. Louis memberships are on a calendar year cycle; all memberships expire on December 31. Memberships are based on individual experience/specialty and are therefore non-transferable. Membership dues and application fees are non-refundable.
